Bookings, Deposit & Payment

The verbal/email booking will be held for 5 days. A non-refundable deposit must be paid within this time to secure the booking. The deposit may be paid via the bookings page on the Celestielle Paint website by paypal, credit or debit card.
The booking form on the website must be completed in full.
The balance must be paid in cash on the day of the event prior to the face painter setting up. We will not accept cheques on the day.
Once we have received your deposit, we will send written confirmation of your booking, detailing the time, date and location of the party. Please check your booking confirmation carefully and inform us immediately if any of the details are incorrect. We will not be liable for non-attendance due to incorrect booking details being provided.

Setting Up & Leaving

We will arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the agreed start time to set up the equipment. Please arrange for a table and two chairs to be available to use. If the event is outside, please also ensure there is suitable shelter from the weather.
Please do not ask us to stay longer than the mutually agreed time, without prior agreement. After packing away our equipment, we will be unable to set up again to cater for late arrivals to the event.

Face Painting

Children must be under constant adult supervision whilst being painted or in the queue.
We advise a maximum of 20 guests for a 2 hour party booking. If more guests are expected, please discuss with us prior to your booking, as we may be able to offer simple cheek or arm art, a second face painter or a longer booking instead.
If your booking is for a child’s party, please ensure all parents are made aware there will be a face painter at the party. It is your responsibility to inform the artist of any children unable to be face painted.
We will refuse to paint anything that we consider to be offensive.
We will not face paint anyone who is intoxicated, violent or abusive. Without prejudice, we reserve the right not to paint anyone we deem unsuitable for face painting.
We reserve the right to distribute Celestielle Paint promotional material during the event, which may take the form of flyers, business cards, stickers or badges.

Cancellation of Booking

The £25 deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellation within 48 hours of the event will be liable for full payment.
Cancellation within 7 days of the event will be liable for 50% of the fee.
Cancellation prior to 7 days before the event will be liable for 25% of the fee.
