Who can be painted?

Face painting is suitable for all ages! However, we do not paint the faces of children under the age of 2 years old – in our experience, they are often too young to understand what is happening. We recommend waiting until the child is a little older and can really enjoy the transformation.

We do not recommend face painting for those with very sensitive skin, although are happy to apply a patch test to check for sensitivity to the products. We are also unable to paint anyone with a contagious condition, including but not limited to chicken pox, cold sores, impetigo or cold and flu symptoms.

Are you professional face painters?

Yes! We use industry-standard products designed for use on the face and body. Brands we use include Paradise, Cameleon, Grimas, Diamond FX, Tag, and Kryolan. We adhere to very strict hygiene standards, including a ‘one sponge per face’ policy.

Lisa holds full Public Liability and Product Liability Insurance and a recent Enhanced CRB (DBS) Disclosure. Copies are available on request. Lisa has also recently completed a paediatric first aid course.

Lisa is a member of FACE – The Face Painting Association – member number 476. She was also recently awarded the Paintopia Face Painter of 2013.

How do I remove the face paints?

Face paints can easily be removed from the face and body using warm water and soap/facial wash. We do not recommend removing face paints with baby wipes.

Face paints can be removed from clothing by first soaking in cold water and then washing the garment as normal.

Where are you?

We are based in Brighton, but happily travel all over Sussex and further afield. Previous clients include festivals, night clubs, corporate events, family fun days, in-store promotions, weddings, hen nights, universities, birthday parties etc etc!

How much does it cost?

Prices vary depending on the number of guests, time and location of the event, but expect to pay around £45 for a local party for 10-12 children.
